          The Regular Meeting of the Marble Rock City Council was called to order with Mayor Engelhardt presiding with Councilpersons Ackley, Marzen, Schmidt, Schriever, and Wells were present. Various citizens were also present. Mayor Engelhardt led the Pledge of Allegiance.


          Moved Ackley/seconded Marzen to approval of agenda with the addition of flushing water hydrants under Maintenance Items. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.


          Moved Ackley/seconded Schriever to depart from agenda to accommodate quests. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried


          Rustin from SEH Yaggy gave a brief update on the water project. Popp Excavating will be in town at the end of the week or next week to finish up their part of the project.


          Moved Ackley/seconded Schmidt to return to agenda. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.


           Moved Ackley/seconded Marzen to accept the minutes April 7, 2015 regular Meeting. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.


          Moved Marzen/seconded Schmidt to approve the monthly reports. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.


          Income for the month of April totaled $141,322.70 which includes:  General Fund $27,192.48, Library Fund $3,415.41, Employee Benefits $14,753.84, Road Revenue Fund $2,205.91, TIF Fund $83,684.86, Debt Service 5,068.81, Landfill-Garbage/Recycling Fund $877.12, Sewer Revenue Fund $2,351.58, Water Revenue Fund $5,224.76.

MAYOR’S REPORT: The Mayor spoke with Liz Tegtmeier about her water heater repair and made an agreement that half of the cost would be paid by the City.

          The Mayor informed the council that Mary Rowe had put down her dogs after being asked to get them vaccinated.


          Moved Ackley/seconded Schriever to Mayor appointing Sam Kruse, Corey Jones, and Lynn Kingery to the Community Center Board. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.


          Moved Ackley/seconded Marzen to authorize the Mayor to approve extra asphalt work by Heartland, after consulting with councilman Steve Wells. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.


          Moved Wells/seconded Ackley to use TIF money as it is received to pay down on the first SRF loan. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.


          Other items discussed: The Mayor presented the council with estimates for new roads for a future project. Gordon Rohwedder Blank Street lease was also discussed. An attachment for flushing hydrants was discussed for better water flow on the ground.


          Moved Ackley/seconded Schmidt to adjourn the meeting at 8:05p.m.  Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.
