MARBLE ROCK CITY COUNCIL
The Regular Meeting of the Marble Rock City Council was called to order with Mayor Merfeld presiding with Councilpersons Engelhardt, Hubbard, Parcher, Schmidt, Wells present. Interested citizens were present. Mayor Merfeld led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Moved Engelhardt/seconded Parcher to approve the agenda as presented. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.
Engelhardt/seconded Wells to accept the minutes of the
Clerk presented a request from No. 8 on the Collections Report for payments to pay his bill. Council discussed what he had asked for and other options. Moved Engelhardt/seconded Hubbard that No. 8 sign an agreement to $58.82 for eight (8) weeks and if payment is missed, water will be shut off as per agreement. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.
Moved Hubbard/seconded Schmidt to approve the monthly reports as amended. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.
Income for the month of November totaled $31,298.01 which includes: General Fund $5,789.33, Library Fund $1,155.74, Comm. Center Fund $27.38, Park Board Fund $0.09, Employee Benefits $797.88, Road Revenue Fund $15,810.64, TIF Fund $13.42, Landfill-Garbage/Recycling Fund $1,130.44, Sewer Revenue Fund $2,377.24, Water Revenue Fund $4,043.51, Proprietary $152.34.
Moved Engelhardt/seconded Parcher to approve the claims as amended. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried. Total of all city claims were $36,196.78.

1. Mayor reported that he attended another Law Enforcement Meeting
and that the Supervisors were leaving the cost at $4.00 per capita.
Steve Wells reported that he had attended a Library Board meeting and ask
about borrowing money from them at 5% interest for the TIF project. He said they voted to not loan the city any money.
Funding for the water project was discussed. Possible financing talked about were loans, state revolving funds, and revenue bonds. Moved Wells/seconded Hubbard to have Jerry Engelhardt check on financing for water project. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.
Engelhardt talked about the
Clerk presented the Abstract of Votes that showed Jerry Engelhardt with 75 write-in votes was elected to the office of Mayor for a term of 4 years, Steven Wells with 90 votes was elected to the office of Council Member for a term of 4 years, and John Marzen with 51 write-in votes was elected to the office of Council Member for a term of 4 years. Moved Engelhardt/seconded Schmidt to accept the Abstract of Votes. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.
Moved Engelhardt/seconded Hubbard to adopt the 80/20 TIF Development Agreement for New Viafield Development. Roll: Ayes- All. Carried.
Other items discussed were tool purchases by the Mayor and program for truck from DOT.
